Below the cut is a list of various aspects of Hogsmeade that might come up within threads or for plotting etc. Please take a moment to read over it so everyone is on the same page. If you have any questions, please ask

This should be an easier way to add friends to your journal. Just make sure you're logged in to the journal you want, go to Admin Console and copy and paste the following:

And presto, you're all set!

Welcome to beyonddark_rpg! Contained in this post is everything you need to get started in the game as well as keep track of everything as the game goes on.

First thing, if you have not done so yet, change the email of your character journal to your own email. If you have trouble finding where to do this, contact a mod and we'll walk you through it.

Character Overview – This is some basic information about the characters and their lives. Reply with the info for your character and if something changes, reply and keep us informed! Note that this won't be updated unless you keep us updated with comments.

Character skill overview - This is another form of character overview, mostly designed to help those applying to know what jobs and skills the already chosen characters have, as to allow us to have as much diversity as possible (no use having everyone be a brilliant potionsbrewer, is there?) Reply with the info for your character and if something changes, reply and keep us informed! Note that this won't be updated unless you keep us updated with comments.

Blank Character Sheet -- Copy and fill out, then post in beyond_writers (under F-lock, please). (Flocked - You need to be logged in to be able to read this post)

Current Cast - Visit the casting couch for the game and view all the pretty shiny characters.

* In Depth War Timeline (document still being edited) --- A must-read for information regarding the war. It expands on the timeline above and has a list of the characters own personal timelines. We recommend (but do not require) that you write your own timeline and post in your character journal. Then comment to this post with a link to that timeline. Things you need to know about Hogsmeade and the game --- A list of general things pertaining to Hogsmeade and the Wizarding world as it looks in game. This is a must-read to get it right.

Town Map and residential Info --- A map of Hogsmeade and its environs along with residental info for the characters. Please comment to the post to choose your character's home.

Real Estate --- Pictures of what type of houses you might find in Hogsmeade and a list of links to where to find more. Choose what your character's house looks like from here. (Flocked - You need to be logged in to be able to read this post)

Map of Upper Slaughter and residential Info for Death Eaters --- A map of Upper Slaughter and its environs along with residental info for the Death Eater characters. Please comment to the post to choose your Death Eater character's home.

Upper Slaughter Real Estate --- Pictures of what type of houses you might find in Upper Slaughter. Choose what your Death Eater character's house looks like from here. (Flocked - You need to be logged in to be able to read this post)

Positions Vacant --- a list of open jobs in Hogsmeade. Check the boards and apply with the relevant Muggles.

Friends Add --- A quick link to add all the current character journals to your own friend's list.

NPC Characters - a list of names of Non Played Characters -- a handy reference so your character can have fun interacting with others who aren't necessarily the regular cast. (flocked post)

NPC Character synopsis -- a more detailed list of the NPC characters, in case you need to use one in your post.

BTD Member Viewer A series of tools designed to make it easier to find players and characters by a variety of factors (e.g. screenname, realname, character name, etc.)

BTD Post Tracker The tracker will show a list of all of the posts in the BTD RPG community. Once you are done reading a thread then you can remove it from your list to keep track of which you've read and which you haven't.

Email the mods --- at btd.mods@gmail.com - for all general questions or for plots that could affect more than just the players involved.

Do remember to join the author's community with your personal LJ and add it to your friendslist so you always know what's going on in the game!
